SFR (safer) fitness training is an approach to resistance training, postural rehabilitation and fat loss that focuses on people who are recovering from chronic poor health.
I designed this step-by-step system of strength training to assist my patients in improving their metabolism, increase lean muscle mass and burn fat because I believe that fitness is essential to healing. As your body improves muscle tone and/or builds more muscle mass your body secretes the Human Growth Hormone. This hormone tells the body to regenerate all of the tissues and organs in the body more effectively. Regular exercise also helps regulate other hormones like insulin, estrogen, progesterone and testosterone.
